Your shipping rate is an estimate based on estimated product & package weight. Sometimes the computer over estimates the shipping cost and on occasion it can under estimate. When your order is packaged and the actual shipping cost is calculated you will be charged the true cost. Any excess freight charges will be refunded when your order is shipped. LAMPSHADES CUSTOM MADE

If you are replacing a lamp shade and your new shade needs to be the same dimensions of the shade you are replacing, a few measurements of your old shade need to be made.  First measure the width of the top wire of your old shade. Do the same for the bottom wire. Determine the measurement of the shade fabric. Measure from the top wire to the bottom wire.  You can then measure the circumference which refers to the distance around the edge of a wire circle, top and bottom.

Another way to get a lamp shade that matches the dimensions of the shade you are replacing is to carefully take the fabric off the top and bottom wires. Mail the fabric along with the top and bottom wires to Shells of Aquarius at 9209 Seminole Blvd Unit 134 Seminole, Florida 33772. 

Some lamp shades are made from a frame.  You may have this type of shade and wish to replace it.  To replace this type of shade will require you to mail your lamp shade frame to us.  We will then hand sew the fabric to the frame.  You will need to choose the cloth and color. 

If you decide to replace or purchase a custom-made lamp shade, you will need to email Shells of Aquarius the shade dimensions and the fabric color.  We can then send you the estimated cost of making the shade.  We will email you the actual shipping expense when the shade is complete. 

We at Shells of Aquarius keep a small inventory of shades you can select from.  We make all the shades offered in our listings.  If we are out of a particular shade you like, we will make it asap.  Keep in mind it takes several days to make a shade, so if we are out of a particular shade, please have patience while your shade is hand crafted.

We do not keep most frame selections in stock.  When you make a selection, we order the frame to be made per specifications.  This can take up to a week.

The cloth of your choice is hand sewn onto the frame.  <b>After the lamp shade is completely crafted you will be sent an invoice for the actual shipping cost via email
