Canarium urceus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Strombidae, the true conchs.

The shell is elongated, fusiform, and may present a biconic appearance. The spire and body whorl feature a distinct, rounded, nodulated shoulder, which may sharpen toward the shell's anterior as the nodulation becomes finer, more pointed, and denser. The anterior canal is typically well-defined and sharp, slightly curving dorsally. The posterior of the body whorl exhibits staining that extends to the dorsum, persisting along the outer lip's marginal fold and onto the dorsal whorl itself. The spire consistently displays nodulation, with the prominence of the knobs varying from sharp in some populations to more rounded and subdued in others. The aperture is consistently edged with dark staining. The inner aperture shows dark striations against a rosy white base color. The columella is a deep midnight black, occasionally displaying hints of deep plum near the posterior. While present, the striations on the columella are distinct. (Maxwell et al 2020).

The distribution of this species is confined to Singapore and the South China Sea, as noted by Maxwell in 2020.
